1. Introduction
As Net Sport ("the Company", "we"), we take the privacy and security of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains how personal data collected through the Net Sport platform is processed.
2. Data We Collect
The following personal data may be collected through our platform:
- Identity Information: First name, last name
- Contact Information: Email address, phone number
- Account Information: Username, password (stored encrypted)
- Location Information: To show facilities near you
- Usage Data: Platform usage statistics, preferences
- Match Recordings: Camera recordings at sports facilities
3. Purposes of Data Use
The personal data collected is used for the following purposes:
- Account creation and management
- Providing and improving our services
- Carrying out reservation and payment transactions
- Providing match recordings and clip-creation services
- Communication and notifications
- Fulfilling legal obligations
4. Sharing of Data
Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where legally required. However, in order to provide our services, limited data sharing may take place with the following business partners:
- Cloud storage service providers
- Authentication, push notification and crash/performance diagnostics providers (e.g. Google Firebase)
- Payment infrastructure providers (only if and when paid features are offered)
Match recordings: for camera recordings made at sports facilities, the facility is the data controller and Net Sport acts only as a data processor providing the technical infrastructure on the facility's instructions.
Website visit statistics are measured with a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool (Umami); this data is not shared with any third-party analytics provider. For details, see the KVKK Disclosure.
5. Data Security
We take industry-standard technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of your personal data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Our marketing website (netsport.app) does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To measure visit statistics, we use Umami analytics, which is self-hosted, cookieless, and does not collect personal data; your IP address is not stored in raw form. This measurement is enabled by default under our legitimate interest in improving our services (KVKK art. 5/2-f); you may opt out at any time using the button on the KVKK Disclosure page. Analytics and diagnostic preferences in the mobile app are managed from the in-app Settings > Privacy section.
7. User Rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
- To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- To request deletion within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
- To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data solely by automated systems
8. Data Retention and Account Deletion
Your personal data is retained for as long as the processing purposes require and in accordance with legal retention obligations. Match recordings are automatically deleted after a certain period. You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Danger zone > Delete account in the app; upon deletion, your data is permanently removed in line with KVKK retention rules.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. You will be informed through the platform when significant changes are made.
